Linda Bradford is based in Long Island City and Beacon, New York. She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (1995); she also studied at the San Francisco Art Institute as well as at the Art Students League in New York, working independently with Richard Pousette-Dart. Her work has been exhibited at Pierogi Gallery, New York; Galerie Open, Berlin; The Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.; Exit Art, New York; the Crocker Museum of Art, Sacramento; and ABC No Rio, New York; and it is part of the Viewing Program at The Drawing Center in New York. Her work is in the collections of Adobe Systems, The Library of Congress, and the Oakland Museum of California, among others. It has been featured in Frame and Surface and appears in Patterns in Design, Art and Architecture (Birkhauser; Basel, 2007).
